is a creation in 12 episodes: 10 trailers, a no. 0 and episode no. 1, public meetings and films.
N° 0 returns to the test episodes for new television series or to the experimental edition of a new magazine prior to its launch. N° 0 winds up the series of face to faces with each of the artist-partners and the research residency at the Centre Chorégraphique National de Montpellier.
In this ideal and adapted context, I dared to assume an hypothesis: that the unique and very special moment in which artists are finally all united for the first time consists of 2 unique pieces and the construction is experienced in a close partnership with the spectators in the space of the vast studio Bagouet without its tiers and carefully prepared with Patrick Najean and Jean-Marc Ségalen.
That the postulate is presented that the working steps are creations in their own right: the Bande-Annonces (Trailers). That they have allowed each artist to acquire individually common materials, thereby progressively enriching the corpus with gestures, actions, figures, texts, sounds, etc.
That transmission from one to the other passes via the filter of films with all the projections and interpretations that they could arouse while yet maintaining a degree of mystery and desire, investing the “1st meeting” with a special value. Its enactment with total commitment from each and every one form the matter and subject of a 2-part piece at 2 days’ interval:
