Très très bien / Bordeaux
With très très bien, a project began on the relationship between three terms: bodies / sounds / architectures and on the fabrication of specific places of perception to welcome spectators.
This research has its origin in the union of a dual meeting: with Marc Dachy in Kyoto in July 2000 (coinciding with the publication of his translation of Richard Kostelanetz’s book Conversation avec John Cage) and with Jean Becchio, a doctor and researcher in Ericksonian hypnosis.
The core quatuor, consisting of Catherine Contour, Olivier Gelpe, Gaby Farage and Frédéric Nogray, accompanied by Carole Bodin, a witness, welcomed at different moments guest artists, researchers and testers.
Improvisation, energy practices and the invention of specific practices (such as sound accumulation), collection of materials, walks, construction of spaces, apparatus, meetings intended for small groups of spectators, modes of habitation or ephemeral use of spaces… form the main activities deployed in très très bien. Gaby Farage, an architect and co-director of Bruit du frigo (Fridge noise) opens up undreamt-of territories for us to explore: from the inside of all TNT buildings to the outside, from the garden to the suburbs of Bordeaux.

or the temporary anchorage of an artist in a theatre, invented in a former concrete factory on the outskirts of Bordeaux and Bègles leads a team into the adventure of a meeting with an original world in resonance with a creation process;
in which the place and its inhabitants/users open up to the artist-associated-by-mutual-desire for new areas to explore.
